Hey guys I got free cruise tickets from my real estate agent

(he gives away free tickets when u refinance or buy a new home) So I am planning to book the cruise soon, it's a Carnival Cruise, it's a 5 day/4 night cruise and it leaves from Miami and goes to Key west, then cozumel mexico. My problem is that the tickets can only be used on the Reviera Deck which is the lowest rooms floor on the shop. Well ym question is, in what floor do u not feel any movement, or atleast none of it, cuz I heard the bottom floor u feel the movement and my mom is queezy so what part do u not feel movement bottom, top, or middle heres the floor plan of the ship thanks!!!

  2. The Riviera deck is actually four decks up from the lowest deck in the ship (Its labeled deck 3 but there is a deck 0) so you are really not all that close to the bottom of the ship. The best place to be is as close to the middle of the ship as you can get as that is the area that is least affected by the ships movement. There is no place on the ship where you will feel no movement if the seas are rough but typically you can rarely feel movement at all if the swells are only 4 feet or so. Don't be too quick to book that cruise as we are still in hurricane season (it ends the beginning of December) so the seas tend to be rough this time of year. Good luck, there is nothing better than a cruise except for a FREE CRUISE.

  3. i herd that a lot of people disappear on cruise ships

  4. The cabins with the least movement are the cabins closest to the water line (the lowest passenger deck) and closest to the middle of the ship.

The higher you go, the more you will feel the roll (left and right movement) of the ship.  The closer to the bow (front) or stern (rear) of the ship, the more you will feel the pitch (up and down movement) of the ship.

  5. i would say empress deck in the middle inside stateroom(pink)  would be your best bet  rooms e-80 to e-165 have a great  cruise

  6. Four nights, don't worry about it.

The best (if there is such a thing) place to be is in the centre of a ship.

ALL cruise ships have stabilizers to slow down the ships movement and the "Old Man" watches the weather and will change coarse to suit.

You have not been on a cruise before. The cabin is for sleeping and that if you are luck would be 6 hours, the rest of the time you will be above deck ,in the bar, disco etc having a gooooood time you wont notice the movement of the ship.

You and your Mum go for it and have a good trip.

PS let me know about your trip when you return.  Waltz.

  7. In the Center of the Ship

  8. upper floors are best but take Bonine for the motion sickness, works like a charm.

  9. the cabins closest to the water line and closest to the middle of the ship will have the least movement.

bonine is good medication to take for sea sickness.

its not a bad thing to think about upgrading.

    cruiseclues.com

is a good site for packing info.

  10. well there rnt rooms on the very top cuz thats were al the restauarnats and pools r

but u should try to get a room on the highest floor that they have rooms on =]

  11. When the cruise date is coming up, call them and see if you can upgrade for a lower price. When the date is soon they usually have some empty rooms in the upper decks.

  12. Awesome, what real estate agent do you use? That's definitely who I need to be using!

  13. The lowest passenger deck is just above the water line so it is the smoothest. Center of the ship would be best. Front and back are the worst.

Upper decks cost more since they are closer to the action, have a better view, and are larger. The higher you go the more side to side rocking can affect you.
