  1. Generally cabin, food, drinks  (not including alcohol), and entertainment are included.

My best suggestion to you would be to check out the cruise lines websites to find something that will be a perfect fit for you.

Disney is my fave for the record.

  2. Everything except beer, cocktails, sodas, shore excursions, and the pictures that their photographers take.  You'll have 24 hours of food available, room service, loads of shows and other entertainment.  If you gamble of course you pay for that.  (unless you win)  I once paid $599 for a cruise and won over $400 on video poker.  A cruise is a great vacation.  I've been on eight and I have another coming up in Nov.

  3. it depends on the cruise you are goin.. the best way to find out is to go to their website, i'm sure you will find out what is and not included in your price..

  4. The price includes your cabin, food, and entertainment aboard the ship.  You will pay for your alcoholic drinks, or any specialty restaurants.  You will pay extra for your shore excursions.

Cruises leaving from San Francisco area are mostly going to the Mexican Riviera, which is a wonderful cruise.

  5. Everything in the price is included like food, board, and entertainment. Alcohol and soda is not usally included. RCC or NCL are great cruise lines and are great for partying and all around travel. Have fun and good luck.

  6. included in the price is your room, most meals, coffee, tea, water with your meals, broadway style shows.  alot of cruise lines are good.  Royal caribbean cruise line, princess, holland america, celebrity (these cruise lines are all good).

here's a site that gives you more info

    cruisecritic.com

    cruiseclues.com

    princess.com

    celebrity.com

  7. You could literally go on board, and eat yourself silly and relax for the entire time and not spend a dime.  You will however have to set aside 10 or so dollars for tipping at the end but the service is so good that you will find this to be the best bargain you will ever find.  If you want to drink, gamble, shore excursions, or Internet you will have to pay for that out of pocket.  Once you go you will find it to be a deal that can't be beat.  You are treated like royalty for your length of stay. It is simply fabulous!  Contact a local travel agent that you can communicate well with they can make some suggestions.  I personally like Holland America, my Mother just went on Princess and she liked it a lot.  We all went on the RCL Freedom and it was really nice but expect lots and lots of people EVERYWHERE!

  8. The typical cruise price includes your cabin, your food, most drinks (milk, non-bottled water, juice, tea regular coffee and punch), most activities, shore excursions and entertainment.

Typically not included are alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, bottled water, extra cost specialty restaurants, special activities (usually special classes), tips, spa treatments, photos and souvenirs.

Where is what Princess has to say on this subject ...

    • Personalized service of one Princess staff member for every three passengers

    • Gourmet dining

    • Las Vegas-style Casinos and Broadway-style shows

    • Onboard activities (fresh water pools, deck parties)

    • Edutainment / Kids programs

    • Gym with exercise classes

    • Library and card room

    • Nightclub

    • Unpack once, visit many destinations

Also available on the ship: (additional charges apply)

    • Full service spa & massage therapy

    • Beauty salon

    • Boutiques & shopping

    • Art auctions/galleries

    • Shore excursions

    • Fitness trainers

    • Full Day babysitting service

    • Bar drinks

Of all the things not included, the only one that is not optional is the tips at the end of the cruise, which is typically $10 per person per day.

Cruising out of San Francisco you are pretty much limited to Princess and Celebrity.  Both are fairly similar in the cruise experience they offer, with perhaps a slight edge to Celebrity.
