Cruise Ship Employment?

Question

Could someone please tell me some good info on how to get into the Cruise Ship Industry. I currently work for a 4 Star Hotel and would like to go to sea. I have no ties at home and would love the opportunity.

Chuck,

There is two tons of information floating around the net, on the subject. Unfortunately most people giving it, have never stepped foot on a cruise ship, and couldn't HONESTLY answer the questions you wish answered.

Would you rather have pencil pushers telling you what you want to hear, or take the advice from someone who has run hiring agency's for major cruise liners, and worked onboard the most prominent 5 Star ones? There is alot that you can do to give yourself a legitimate chance of landing a great job at sea. If your looking for straight answers, and the ability to cut your learning curve in half, i suggest you start by having a look here.
