Cruise for New Year's Eve-Good Idea?

I'm thinking of going on a cruise for New Year's Eve. In particular, I like the Nautical Empress (in Bellport, New York). Would it be too cold (since it's on the water)? Has anyone been on that cruise? Thanks for the 411 in advance.

I think it's a great idea. I'm sure it could be rather cold depending on how far south you'll sail, but you can drink as much as you want and not have to get yourself home! I've been on a couple cruises where by 3am, people were sleeping on couches in the lounges. I say go for it!
