Cruise in May 08 from Barcelona, arrive 2 days earlier, how easy is it to get to Port?

I have cruised out of Barcelona and we stayed a night there before our cruise.  We were in  a hotel kinda near the Med and the taxi ride to the port was not far but the traffic was very heavy because of construction.  But its very easy to get to the port.  I saw on line that a taxi ride from the airport to the port should be about $25 Euros.  Our ride from closer was about $15 Euros.

Just organise a taxi from your hotel to the port. Taxi fares in Spain and Barcelona are reasonable. Buses are really cheap but I wouldn't fancy travelling on a crowded Spanish bus with a couple of suitcases.

You are arriving 2 days early, you will have plenty of time to figure out how far the cruise berth is from your hotel.
