Cruise line employment for 18 year old?

wondering if there are any cruise line companies which hire 18 year olds for the housekeeping department...any other info would be great also =)

The cruise lines' websites usually have a button for "employment".

The lines don't hire many Americans, as not many Americans would work under the conditions required to work on a cruise ship - long hours, low wages and close quarters.  Ships are not covered by American labor laws [that's why they're all flagged in foreign countries].  One ship that does hire Americans is the Norwegian American-flagged ship in Hawaii.  It receives a lot of criticism for its low level of service.
