  1. Cunard and Princess do this.  They are called world tours.  They typically run about 100+ days, and are very pricey.  Princess also offers a lot of cruises in the 30+ day range.

You can check it out here   http://www.princess.com/pb/searchResults...

  2. Holland America has around the world cruises.

  3. There is a travel agent called china supreme harmony travel service. It is specialized in cruise tourism and other tourism information of China. The website is:

  4. Try calling a travel agent...they do not charge you anything...and they would have this info.

  5. Crystal Cruises has an awesome around the world cruise that actually goes for 108 days. (Jan 19-May 7) It starts in LA and ends in England. Some ports are Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Egypt, Greece, Italy, Spain. They are a top of the line cruise so more expensive than others but they also have much better service because the crew to passenger ratio is much better. If you only want to go for 2 months you can choose what portion of the World cruise you would like to go on and just go on that part. Hope this helps! You are lucky if you go on this one!! I wish it were me.

  7. There are many Cruise Lines that do these longer duration cruises.  Some of them even have longer programs like Cunard Lines has Around the World.  Holland America also has Around the World.  Crystal is another fantastic Cruise Line that offers longer durations program including Around the World.

The strange thing is that these ship and lines tend to book up early for these long durations cruises, as there are people that do just that year after year.  What seems to book first are the suites and the least expensive.  What is left is in the middle.

You can also book consecutive cruises on board any ship thus making it a longer cruise but the passengers will change for each cruise.

Some of these longer cruises can be purchased in segments, meaning that you can stay on board for a certain period of time, not the entire voyage.

One thing that you will want to realize prior to going is the type of people that you will encounter on a ship for a long duration cruise.  Think about that.  It would be a much older crowd.  A wealthy older crowd and on certain ships, they dress formally for dinner a lot.  Not that it is stuffy, but some of these ships are very dressy.  Cunard would be one of them.  The new Queen Mary 2 is also a class structured ship, meaning there are areas of the ship only reserved for First class passengers.

I have sailed on over 100 cruises and I would agree that the services of a Travel Agent would be invaluable to you.  Not just a travel Agent but a Cruise Expert.  Someone that will assist you in finding the right ship at the right price!

There are a lot of longer cruises to select from, just be really particular and find the right one.  Spending that amount of time on the wrong ship could be a bad experience.

The costs of these long duration cruises are costly but realize that you will also have other costs in addition.  Tips, and shore excursions, your bar tab and items of a personal nature are additional.

There is nothing like a long duration cruise.  I have done world cruises.  Just be prepared for it and you will be find, hence the seasoned Travel Agent will be the best bet all around.

Also there are Cargo Ships that do accept passengers and have long itineraries.  Remember though, these ships generally do not have the amenities of a cruise ship.  However, they can represent a value in the over all cost.  They are also subject to cargo and sometimes are not on schedule for that very reason.

So call around your area to various Travel Agencies and ask to talk to their Cruise Expert.  Ask that person if she or he has done this sort of thing before and don't give up until you find someone that makes you feel comfortable in discussing world cruising.

This Cruise Expert can save you time let alone money!  Never pay the "rack rate" or the full brochure prices.  there are far too many deals out there to do that.

Bon Voyage and what a wonderful adventure!
