  1. Royal Caribbean Splendour of the Seas,Carnival Conquest those are the two best ships that my mom and I looked at.

There is another one of the Seas but I can't think of it right now.

  2. I don't think it matters much which cruiseline you'd go on.. you'll have fun on any of them...

Is there a reason you want to go to the Western Caribbean? In my person opinion, Eastern is better and more romantic..  We've been to both. and the seas are less rough to the East of San Juan..

I hope you have a great time!

  3. go with princess cruises.  their carribean princess is huge can accomodate almost 3,000 people.  cabin crews are very friendly and helpful.  the food is excellent 24/7 and the entertainment onboard is spectacular.  they have this princess idol singing contest if you know how to sing and it's really fun.  very organized everytime you dock on an island.  take the excursion on shore and you both will love it.  want to go again this year for a cruise with princess.  enjoy!!!

  4. in my opinion you'll have more fun on Carnival.  If you have days at sea, Carnival will keep you occupied while the others are a little more boring.  If you'd rather be on islands, and better islands during your cruise, then try to find a cruise out of San Juan, so you won't have so much time at sea.  To save a couple bucks, buy your own snorkel gear here and then you won't have to buy into the ship's excursions.  Just get off the ship and ask the taxi driver to bring you to a beach for snorkeling...either private or one that has a bar...and then ask him to pick you up.  Plan you excursions online here at home, so you'll have a plan.  Try this site for some great cruise deals.  iBtraveling.com  I usually find something there.  Wish you luck!  Have fun!

  5. Royal Caribbean is my favorites, for store, meals and the way they treat you. Carnival have more latins is good if you want to enjoy this area, like music.

  6. I only had cruise experience with Carnival Cruiseline.  And I found the ship I took to be nice and well organized, service staff mostly Filipinos, especially the female bartenders.  Efficient and beautiful girls. Complete facilities like different type of dining according to your preference, formal or informal, auditoriums for programs, function rooms for families, for singles, for women only, for children for different activities, different size swimming pools, open air eating place on the upper deck, bars, casino, dancing floors.  They even have different international dishes not inlcuded in the dining areas, served in the afternoon in different corners or floors of the ship.

    I would endorse Carnival Cruise.

  7. If you go to vacationstogo.com it will give you an idea of the different itineraries available, the sizes of the ships, their star rating and costs for different times of the year. After you have narrowed your choices down to 3 or 4 go to cruiseaddicts.com to the specific ships reviews. I prefer to pay less so that I can cruise more, but I'm not willing to give up comfort. I think the star rating on a ship is more important than which line you use. Pick at least a 4 star and if two ships are going to the ports you like pick the newer one. Staff on ships get promoted for good service up to the newer ships. Bon voyage. Hope this helps.

  8. I've sailed them all.  They are all good in their own way.

Carnival is the most BANG for your buck.  24hr party boats.  Always something to do.  They have a newly wed game that is fun for hooneymooners as well.  Largest room for the price. Try CONQUEST

    Royal Caribbean:  BEAUTIFUL!

you'll be treated like royality.  Food is excellent.  Fewer planned activites, but lots of stuff to do on board.

    Smaller rooms.

Pricess:  Very snooty.  Not many planned activites.  Food is very good.  High quality of service.  VERY CLEAN SHIPS and ROOM

  9. I would absolutely choose the Norwegian cruise lines.  i just returned from a cruise on the majesty ship, the crew was amazing and friendly, the food was great and the "freestyle" cruising is their thing so you can eat whenever you want, no schedules, organized day trips, all day buffet, pool, hot tubs with a live band, casino, kid friendly...basically its a great experience.   check out the website, they're fairly affordable and 100% worth the money.  www.ncl.com

  10. CArnival is not the best choice unless you want a lot of kids and more party oriented people. Holland America draws more mature people and is supposed to be good for those who want to relax. Princess is good to... make sure that you don't go when schools are off... spring break or summer.

  11. Of the four lines that you have mentioned my personal opinion is that Princess has the most to offer. If you are looking for a great Caribbean Cruise with newer ships and like the idea of free style cruising Princess is the way to go. Norwegian also has the free style concept but is not as nice as Princess. Also the Eastern Caribbean is nicer that the Western Caribbean. Princess has some great prices on Balcony cabins going there.

With both Carnival and Royal Caribbean you are going to find either a party crowd or a lot of families with kids. For your 10 yr anniversary I am sure you want to avoid this demographic.

Princess has many ships that go to the Caribbean. Some that come to mind are the Caribbean Princess, Crown Princess and the Emerald Princess (Brand New)

  12. royal Caribbean hands down they are not the cheapest nor the most expensive they  will treat you like a king and queen so very nice indeed my pick is mariner of the seas out of port Canaveral i have a cruise booked on that ship in October if you want to know more about the ship you can go to rccl.com or cruise critic.com you will have the time of your life . hope this helps and congratulations on your anniversary.

  13. Go to http://www.love.allabouthoneymoons.com they can plan any type of trip not just honeymoons and destination weddings. If you tell them what you like and your budget they will plan the perfect trip for you.Best of all if you use there service to book your trip there service is free b/c the fee is paid by the hotel, cruise line or resort.

I have not been on Norwegian or Princess but the others are about equal.
