  1. Choose either the Caribbean or Hawaii.  The best time to go to Europe, specifically Greece is in April.  In the winter time, it'll be nice going somewhere warm and tropical.  Enjoy

  2. Go to this site, join it and let them email you their deals, they are as good as it gets.  Keep an eye on their Specials and the 90 Day Ticker............

If you've never experienced a cruise before and need to save money, the Caribbean is probably your best bet as you won't be incurring large airfares.

Toward the end of the year, the Norwegian Cruise Line ships at Hawai'i usually have a pretty major price reduction as will the Europe trips but you'll have a great time wherever you go.

NCL is freestyle, meaning no tux, coat or tie, or gowns.

  3. Check this blog i found... im sure you will find something useful here  ;)

  4. I would try these site:

http://www.galaxy.joystar.com or email them at galaxytravel@verizon.net

They gave me a better price that was listed on there site.

Vacations to go in my opinion stinks.

  5. The hurricane season in the Caribbean is June through November. So December would be great. The last week though gets very busy because so many kids are on vacation from school. So then the prices go up then. I have been in the Western, Eastern and Southern Caribbean and loved them all. I think that the Western is the best for first time cruisers. It tends to be a bit calmer seas. I would stretch my budget until it screams in order to take 7 days or longer. The shorter ones are party central. My last cruise was 10 days and the only way we could afford it was to take an inside cabin. Book your cruise as soon as you can with a travel agent who will adjust the price if the cruiseline drops theirs. Ask ahead of time. If you need airfare also book as soon as possible. Do not book a package with the cruiseline. Their airfare is for their gain not yours. A good TA can help you with this. They get their $ from the companies you book with, not from you. Be careful or you'll get as addicted as me! LOL

  6. My husband is a golf professional so we only get to travel in the winter months.  The best time we have found is January.  Sometimes around the holidays you find a lot of families, not that this is a bad thing, but if you are looking for some quiet time, you may want to avoid this.

We have always gone with Royal Caribbean becuase the prices are great and we haven't had a bad experience yet.  They offer plenty of dining options, the ships are amazing and there is something for everyone's taste.

Where you go depends on what you are looking for.  We went to Bermuda which was nice because you are on the same island for 4 days, so you don't have to worry about being back on the ship for a certain time etc.  We have also gone to the Eastern Caribbean which offers something different everyday.

When you go if you want to save some money don't be afraid of the smaller rooms, the ones with a porthole.  You don't spend a whole lot of time in the room anyway.  Just be sure to look for one in the middle of the boat both on floor and the length of the ship.

If you can wait till the last minute look at vacationstogo.com, they offer last minute cruise specials, we have gotten amazing rates through them!  Also, I reccommend going to a travel agent, the fee's are the exact same that you would pay if you went through the cruise line directly.  The cruise line pays there commission, not you.  I verified it and that is correct.  When you go through the agent they will give you great advice on how to get there, where to stay if you go early and which excusions if any to book.

    Good luck I love cruising!

  7. Just about any cruise line that goes into the Caribbean should give a good discount, it is the beginning of hurricane season, so it can be hit and miss as to whether you go. My wife and I went on a cruise the week between Christmas and New Years to the Eastern Caribbean and had a great time. We used Norwegian Cruise Lines

  8. I would recommend the Caribbean on Carnival.  Beginning of Dec is a good time for the budget.  Not too many kids and great weather.  My personal choice would be the Carnival Inspiration five day Western Caribbean out of Tampa, or the Carnival Glory seven day Eastern Caribbean out of Port Canaveral.

Call Carnival direct.  I have a Vacation Planner there who has always gotten me the best deal.  Better than any travel agent offered.  Free upgrades, even after we are booked.  Once, I was upgraded to the Empress deck, and did not even know it until we received the boarding pass.  We always get the cheapest room available.  We are only in it to sleep, shower and dress anyway.

  9. The Caribbean or Hawaii would be nice. Somewhere warm in the middle of winter. I recommend Royal Caribbean or NCL, they both have pretty good itineraries, are affordable, and have a reputation for good service. Carnival is cheap in price and quality of service, I wouldn't recommend it. Check RCI and NCl's website just to get an idea of price and what you want, then check other sites to see if you can find a better price.
