  1. Yes, RCI and Carnival let people under 21 cruise without parents or guardians if they're married.

They WILL ask for your marriage certificate at embarkation.  If you can't produce it, they won't let you aboard.

As for the the RCI document you linked to, that just means people under 21 can cruise if their parents are in the adjacent cabin -- i.e., next door or across the hall.

  2. You are quite correct, you have to be 21 to go on a cruise without a supervising adult ( It doesn't need to be a parent just someone over 25) but if you are under 21 and married, you can book and go on a cruise.

You need to prove you are married by producing your marriage certificate and you need to be with your husband

If you intend to cruise with your husband, even if your husband is also under 21 you don't have a problem.

If you intend to cruise without your husband, even though you are married, you may have a problem.

It gets a little fuzzy in this area, you may need to have someone over 25 sailing with you.

My advice, if this is the case, (you are going without your husband) is to contact the cruise line and verify their policy and get it in writing.

  3. That said that if both of you is under 21 and married you need to show a proof of marriage (a wedding document) that shows that you are married. I guess that the same is through if one of you is under 21 to. But a good rule is to phone or email them if you got questions of the ages. Or wait until youre both over 21. Then youll be alouded to drink and that maybe more funnier. Johan

  4. Based on the information that you gave in your question, it seems that you are able to book a cruise if you're married and under 21.  You must provided them proof of marriage like a marriage certificate.  Find out from the cruise line or travel agent.  Good luck.
