OK, what is with that cruise ship in Greece that hit the rock underwater? I read the "rock" was the top of a dormant volcano just under the water. I also read that the bottom of the ocean is 600 feet deep. Wow.
OK, questions:
1. Don't expensive ships have all kinds of devices today that tell you when something is in the way? Sonar, radar, gps, sirens, horns, talking computers? NOTHING gave any warning??
2. Since that "rock under water" was there for a loonnnggg time, all the things on the ship that warn you; ROCK AHEAD, must have remembered the "rock-ahead."
3. This ship sank like the Titanic. I thought we built ships, SINCE THEN, to make them sink-proof. Especially costing THAT much money!!
I guess not!!
