Cruise to Belize City?

I'm going on a cruise that stops in Belize City and a friend

wants a book on the history of Belize.umm where would be

a good place their to get one.

In Belize City, try The Book Center, 4 Church St. (tel. [phone]).  It has a decent collection of local publications.  I would suggest calling them before you arrive, though, to ask if they stock any good books on local history.  This is due to the fact that Belize is a slowly-developing country and many modern conveniences, such as large well-stocked book stores, are few and far between.

There's not many books on Belizean history, so may have to special order or resort to internet or travel guide sources.

Dnt let the moron above say they arent many on Belizean history, gosh i wonder if he's from here. Well as the first guy stated go there, or practically visit any book or stationary store, tourist places also have em most of the time, check any book store you are more likey to get them there. cheers
