Cruise to Hawaii,Tahiti, Bora Bora, Pago Pago, New Zealand. What must I not miss at these locations?

Any suggestions on what to see at these locations?

Hilo

Lahaina

Papeete

Rarotonga

Suma

Auckland

Christchurch

Dunedin

Sometime it is better to look yourself that take the package shore excursions. Anyone with some ideas of what to see?

The Shore excursions on a cruise ship are usually expensive, what we usually do is have a rental car pick us up at the dock, and we go exploring by our selves. most car rental companies WILL deliver a car to the port where you dock. Try to see as much "local" culture as you can and experience the true nature of the people you are visiting.  have fun. Cruises are great!
