Cruise to canda on carnival , victory

I am thinking about booking a cruise on the carnival ship Victory sails Aug. 18th to Canada and Saint John, New Brunswick. Its a balcony cabin and 5 nite on the lido deck. I have 2 boys ages 8 and 11. Is this a ship of "FUN" for them? I sure don't want to hear "I'm bored"!

Do you think it would be warm in this part of the country in 2 weeks?

Are there things to see and do in St. John, Halifax?
