Cruise travel from rhode island to Africa?

There are no major cruise lines that have cruise itineraries from Rhode Island to any port cities in Africa.  The nearest port to to Rhode Island to  leave on a cruise is Boston, Mass, or New York City.  And cruises leaving from those ports do not go to Africa.  The many cruises that leave from New York City generally go to England or Spain.  

Now if you want to know how long it would atke ANY ship to go you would have to specify a destination in Africa.  A northern Africa country like Morocoo may take the same as a cruise to Spain, about 7 or 8 days.  But a cruise to South Africa would take at least twice that long, if not longer because the ship would need to stop for refueling and to take on supplies.
