Cruises: Has anyone been on a 25+ day cruise before? Don't you think you're guaranteed bad weather in that

Haven't been on one that long. But I do love to cruise, when bad weather happens, the ship usually goes around it. They can't always by pass the rough seas, but with all the modern technology that they have on board, they can go around the storm.

I have been on a 73 day cruise...where ever u go you are going to have bad weather...but nothing like a hurricane or something like that...if they see that a hurricane is coming, they will move you away from it....you basically have to understand that in over 3 months, you are not going to have perfect weather everyday....there is plently to do on the ship that will keep you occupied...and if you miss a port of call, the ship company will give you spending money on the ship....
