  1. Hi Amanda,

I think I can be of assistance to you, since I have recently become a Cruise Specialist.  First, while there are certainly cruises that are relatively inexpensive, the first thing you should really do, is talk to a specialist so that they can determine the right cruise for you.  And there are many more factors other than price which will determine that.

For example, if you are a younger couple, you may not want to be on a cruise ship where the average age of the passengers is over 50.  If you are cruising in June, which is the start of hurricane season, you may want to avoid certain destinations in the Caribbean, which can be affected by those storms, while a spectacular destination such as Alaska is available in June when the weather is warm.  There are also ships that only offer 2 seatings for dinner (early or late) and have formal nights, while others offer 'anytime' dining as well as other restaurants to dine in, and the attire is always casual.

That is just a small sampling of the subjects that a specialist will review with you, to help you determine which ship and itinerary would be best for you, while keeping your budget in mind.

One thing that only we offer, which you might find interesting, is a Honeymoon Registry, where we set up a website especially for you, and your family and friends can access it and contribute funds to help pay for your cruise, rather than buying a blender or silverware.  Shortly before your wedding day, you would receive a souvenir photo album, containing all the best wishes from your friends and family who contributed to your cruise on your site.  And the best part is, that all of these services are provided for you at no charge!!  I have included at the bottom of this note, the website link to that registry; if you can't click on it, then copy it to your browser.

There are probably more cruise lines and destinations out there than you can possibly imagine.  Obviously, you would not be able to hear about that if you only contact one or two cruise lines directly, since they would only be interested in selling you their cruises.  Plus. our company is part of the biggest leisure travel companies in the world, and it is quite unlikely that you'd be able to find a better price than we could provide.

So please visit our site, and I would be happy to answer any questions you might have.  But whether it is me or someone else, I think you'll be doing yourself a big favor by using a cruise specialist to help plan the most memorable trip of your life!

Best of luck to you!  Neil

  2. I book cruises on line all of the time for us.  I prefer Royal Caribbean because they have the easiest web site to use and book on, and good discounts too, but I have also booked on line for cruises with NCL Celebrity and Holland America.

Most cruise lines have their specials and discounted cruises listed right on their home web page.  Royal Caribbean and Carnival are best at listing their specials.  Just remember that to get the best price you must book early and be a little flexible on your travel date after your wedding as the best deal may be a few weeks after your wedding and not a couple days after it.

  3. Definalty go to the Bahamas

    Carnival

  4. I always book directly through Carnival,  I call and use a vacation planner there.  I have always used the same one, and he gets me the best deals, sometimes even better than on the webpage.  He is able to "move" promotions around to get the best deal.  He also guarantees the lowest price.  If it goes lower, then they will match it.  I also get any free upgrades that come up.  I have always paid for the cheapest room, and ended up on a higher deck, usually the top deck.

  5. Cruise prices are tightly regulated.  Just go to the cruise line's site.

    DO NOT CRUISE NCL!

  6. We are a small travel agency. We have links on our site which you can go directly into the cruise line website. When you book through our site, we can handle any problems you might incur from booking with an online site.

The cruise lines have to give the same quotes to every agency, so you will get the same deal with us as you would with other agencies.

The difference is that if you need to call or just want to call and ask a question, our number is listed on the website. Also, if you email us with your phone number, we will return the phone call within 24 hours.

    Hope this helps

  7. Vacations to go cover all cruise lines and have great deals. I love the princess cruise lines the best.

  8. I will not use a lot of words, but just say www.travade.com has the best deals in travel and for cruises.

    I highly recommend them.

    Good Luck!

If the site asks you to type anything in a box, simply type "travade".
