Whats the sea crossing like in August on a large cruise ship. I have cruised in the Carribean and I was fine but a little concerned about the Crossing in Europe. Can anyone advise please. Thanks

  1. Depends a lot on the ship and the sea conditions of the day.

I did bay of biscaine with both an old ship (which was very unstable elsewhere, like norway) and with a huge liner.

And it was the other way around, The Thomson Celebration (the old one) was fine and the giant Costa ship (almost 5000 people onboard) was very rocky indeed.

Depends, make sure you have your sea bands.

  2. Its fine, the ships are so big you hardly know you are on them. We were told The Bay of Bisque can be a bit rough but I've been several times and it wasn't a problem. Enjoy your cruise.

  3. Normally, at that time of the year it's OK. Plus todays cruise ships are so big that it takes a really heavy sea to cause problems.
