There is this guy, He's 8 years older than me. (I'm 17) I feel he likes me, but I'm not really sure,So this guy he is always telling me how pretty I am, and saying how far my looks can get me. He recently said I am very attractive, and when he hugged he said he could hug me forever.He is always making fun of how young I am. (What does this mean???!!) And just the other day, he told me I was going to be his wife.He keeps asking me when are we getting married. Do you think he can be joking? What kind of approach should I take to him?( I don't plan on doing anything until I reach 18) Any predictions what he might do in the future. Furthermore, do you think he may be interested? Is he afraid? I know him well enough by now, he is not all creepy, looking to score or whatever.Again, I don't plan to talk to him until I am 18, but what could i do to keep his interest.Is he interested?

He could be either one of these

1. He could be wanting to get so close to you so he can manipulate you and do stuff you wouldn't normally do like have s*x. I know he might not seem like he is the type, but they do whatever they can to do that. It is 100% illegal for him to be hitting or dating a 17 year old, you if he ever touched you, he would go to prison.

2. He could just want to be friends or think you are pretty.

I honestly think he is number 1. I wouldn't get too close to him!!

i think this boy is interested. but yet again he could be playing. he is older so he shouldnt. he is practically an adult and adults shouldnt be playing games. he must want to be with you because he pretty much is punching you in the face with hints. he tells you you're pretty and hugs you and loves hugging you and tells you he wants you to be with him as his wife... oh yeah, he is into you. but i would be careful and dont throw yourself out there all at once. it would be good for you if you like flirt back but dont hook up with him or anything. like if he says "i could hug you forever" be like "you sure can, whenever lol" or something... just be playful but without getting too hoochie-coochie lol.

8 years is a big difference.

Just be yourself, and if he likes you, and wants you, he will stay interested.

He could just be joking, and thinks of you as a younger sister or something. That is something you will have to talk to him about.

Just talk to him, and tell him you aren't ready for anything with him until you're a bit older. So it doesn't seem as weird. & illegal. HAHA.

But that you want to still hang out and be good friends, and get to know eachother more, and just stay like that until you're ready.
