Crush on my best friend...?

I have a HUGE crush on my best guy friend. We met last year and he's totally cool towards me. I THINK that he likes me (we hang out all the time, always trying to hold my hand, he let me put my head on his shoulder during a late night movie, walking next to me even when we're in a huge group, etc...) and all my girlfriends think that he likes me (one is always calling us 'adorable').

I have huge self-esteem problems. I can't look in the mirror without finding a huge flaw. He's the same way. So, I obviously don't have any experience in romance or confidence... never dated nor been kissed.

He's the first crush that I can picture actually dating. Other guys were just hot...

So... HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS!!

1) Do you think he likes me?

and if so...

2) How can I ask him out without being awkward? I don't think he'll step up to the plate.

He's coming over to my house tomorrow to hang out.

Same EXACT thing happend to me.. i liked my best guy friends blahblah.. and every one thought we were actually going out, we werent we were just hanging out alot.. i ended up just asking him.. do you have feelings for me... he said he likes me as a f*cking sister!!! ugh...... so idk after that experiance, just ask him to a movie just to two of you.

Some of the stuff you said might mean he like you or he just think of you just as a friend. Just ask him say we need to talk I need to ask you something not trying to ruin our friendship.But I was wondering if you like me more than friends cause I have a like you more than friend. It cause all the time we hangout together you would hold my hand and the other stuff you said so I thought that you like me more than a friend. And he said no it better to take it off your chest always asking yourself does he like me like  me. Do you don't have to worry about that cause you not keep your emotions to yourself and just tell the how you feel about them. Cause I had a crush on this boy and didn't tell him how I feel about him but he told me he like me more than friends in front of the whole class. So I got embarrassed said something mean but he still like me so I later my friend told him I like him and we were suppose go out with him but never did and he said cause I shouldn't told him how I  feel about him. So I  stilled like him but than he changed and started act like a jerk and would get jealous  that I would hug my boy best friend and he would ask for a hug but I said no and would jealous thinking  I go out with which we never did
