The retired veteran has taken out time to voice his opinion regarding the race for the Liga BBVA title between the Spanish giants, suggesting that it is harming the competition in the league.
Former Barcelona player and manager, Johan Cruyff, has expressed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604’s lead over Real Madrid in terms of points is not a good thing for the Spanish La Liga.
The legendary footballer remarked that the gap between the two teams is evident of the fact that competition in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 is coming to an end. He added that the deficit amongst the teams is too vast and hence the race for the title may already be over.
This has been interesting season in the Liga BBVA as the two Spanish giants have underwent greatly different campaigns. Real Madrid have endured one of the most disappointing start to their league campaign so far.
Despite being the defending champions of Spain, Los Blancos have performed poorly in the Primera Division. So far, the nine-time European champions have dropped 16 points in the standings table and currently find themselves at the 3rd spot.
On the other hand, Barca have enjoyed the best start to the Spanish La Liga ever. Although this is the first year of their new head, Tito Vilanova, the Catalans have managed to remain unbeaten as the season approaches its intermission.
In addition, all of the matches played by La Blaugrana have been victories except for just one draw.
Consequently, Cruyff is worried that such statistics only show that the competition between the greatest rivals in the region is almost over. He established that the Nou Camp outfit have set one hand on the trophy already.
"It's too much, it's a terrible gap," he told Le Buteur.

"The truth is that it's not good for La Liga. Perhaps Barcelona supporters are happy, but a championship is valued by the tension and excitement it creates. Here the suspense is over."
Barcelona latest victory in the league came against Valladolid as they paved their way to a 3-1 victory at the Nou Camp. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristian-c9491 Tello were the scorers for the away side.
