Cry Lightening worthy of a dabble in Romford’s A2 400m Flat
A chance can easily be taken on Cry Lightening, whose claims look fairly obvious in the A2 400m Flat, to be held at Romford on Monday, October 22nd. Despite the fact that victories are not coming to her way these days, no one can afford to take
anything away from P. Young’s trainee.
She has been running quite brilliantly, but without any success. Ahead of finishing third in an A2 meeting, the black b***h was runner-up twice at the A1 level. She just needs an extra push to break the shackles.
On her latest trip, she got bumped at the fourth bend and therefore, could not produce a positive result. A clear passage will surely help her seize the first rank in today’s big meeting.
Among her opponents are: Barefield Blue, Bower Teddy, Fantastic Royal, Gar Snacks and Galtee Tom. The 400 metres contest is due to begin at 21:17 GMT. A cash prize of 116 pounds will be given to the ultimate champion.
Bower Teddy cannot be completely ignored. The blue dog is going through an unlucky spell these days, but a favourable draw can help him come up with something special.
As far as Gar Snacks’ case is concerned, wins in this class are in short supply, and may stay that way. Galtee Tom needs to play hard against some speedy types.
Barefield Blue’s chances will be bright only in case of a trouble-free passage. The blue b***h enjoyed a clear run on none of her previous five outings. P. Young’s trainee made an impressive outing at the end of last month, when winning the race by four
lengths despite getting bumped early on.
Fantastic Royal should soon be cracking the whip, but it is unsure for how long she would be able to maintain the standards. It is hard to expect a consistent show from the black b***h, who is not in good rhythm at the moment.
Barefield Blue and Bower Teddy are worth considering, but the preference should be given to Cry Lightening. She has plenty going for her, needs just an extra effort to get the better of this opposition. We wish the best of luck to all the hounds.
