  1. ah, sorry for your loss, but if you are deeply hurt, this sometimes cannot be avoided.  People who do this are truly hurt.

  2. I am sorry to hear about your loss, but it is definitely normal to cry. I think you shouldnt be ashamed. I cried hysterically on my graduation too, and i am not sorry i did so. It takes a stronger person to cry out in public than it is to hold back.

  3. Sedate yourself. I know when my grandma died my aunt (her youngest daughter) was hopped up on valium the whole time. She could barely move on her own, but there were no outburst.

Personally having raw emotion is acceptable at funerals.

    Sorry for your losses.

My brother was murdered and I was basically on the floor in hysterics at his funeral and I didn't care. That was back in 2003 and I was 14 going on 15 two weeks later.

  4. Excuse yourself and go to the restroom.

  5. Don't hold back. Just let it all go. You'll find if you keep your emotions from showing, they back up like a clogged drain pipe and end up leaking out sometime later on, maybe even when you don't want them to show.

Emotions are an amazing thing, and emotions are a true gift. Let them show. Crying at funerals, is only an act of a human being, which you are. { I hope }.

Also, crying at a loved one's funeral only shows you cared for them and that they will be missed. Sorry for your loss.

My heart goes out to you tonight. <3

    Hope I helped.

  6. It's ok. I never cried at my grandma's funeral but I sobbed so loudly at my husbands grandma's funeral when she died that the pastor had a hard time to go on with his sermon but  I was the only one crying.. sobbing.. so at least someone was really mournng her and i was over 30 years old and I had to sob. I couldn't stop it so don't feel ashamed. It happens and it's alright it shows that you cared. x*x
