I need some help with some cryptic clues please.

Traveller is said to be a lot less biased (8)

Beat poet writes of spirits on a mountain (8)

Fish in saltwater spread (9)

4 is ripen from Sunday school = religious instruction (R.I) + pen (writer)

can't see any others yet

3 could be seafarer

Beat poet writes of spirits on a mountain (8) = GINSBERG.

Spirits = GINS  Mountain = BERG

Beat poet = Allen GINSBERG

Traveller is said to be a lot less biased (8) - are you sure this is 8 letters, and not 6 letters?  A traveller would be a FARER, and "said to be" implies a homophone, which would be FAIRER, or less biased.  Seems to me the answer should be FAIRER.

Wait, I've got it - "WAYFARER".  As in "WAY FAIRER", a lot fairer.

Fish in saltwater spread (9) - this should be an anagram of the word "saltwater" (spread means the letters should be mixed around) but I can't find one.  The best I can do is "TRAWL SEAT" but I don't think that's right.
