EA seem to be making the most of Origin’s accidental listing of Crysis 3’s listing by making a number of announcements about the game.
Earlier on in the month, box-art of Crysis 3 somehow managed to make its way onto EA’s digital distribution platform, Origin. Not only that but it was actually listed as confirmed title, which everyone knew it was going to be someday, yet the fact that it
was leaked by EA themselves made it all the more interesting.
Rather than shying away an denying the game’s existence, EA seem to have come out with a plethora of Crysis 3 details, however, very little was given away in terms of gameplay or the game’s storyline. Instead, the details highlight what pre-order bonuses
players can avail if they book their copy of the game in advance.
Available for pre-order at $60 (or $59.99 if one wanted to be exact), gamers can expect a number of pre-order bonuses that the standard edition of the game will not be able to boast.
To start things off, players will unlock three exclusive dog tags, an online XP boost to level five and a skin for the new weapon in the game, the bow, for multiplayer.
To sum it up, CryTek also state that the game will give players “the tools to become the ultimate hunter in multiplayer” and allows players to make use of the bow weapon in the game early on, as well a few bonus attachments for the weapons.
That is not all as the pre-order bonuses also include the ‘Hunter Nanosuit’. The suit is an upgrade for the super-suit and not only increases the functionality of the suit but also increases its power.
EA did not stop there when it came to details as it also pointed out that there would be retailer specific bonus content available for gamers to choose from and shared plenty of single-player details as well.
As for the retailer specific bonuses, well it turns out that specific retailers would be offering three different packs, namely: the Stalker Pack, Overkill Pack and Predator Pack.
