  1. Just put it in a pot filled with boiling water (water that have just been boiled). Put it in slowly so that the glass do not crack. It will liquify again.

  2. Put it in a large pot full of water  in its jar closed lid and boil slowly till its back to its pouring stage let it cool down before use

  3. If you dont have a double boiler ( which works the best) then just place the honey container in a pot of boiling water.  Its better to put the honey in a stainless steel bowl, so that you can stir it and since a plastic container is probably going to melt.  If there is wax in the honey that you want to remove, let it all melt in the bowl and then set it aside to cool completely.  All the wax will come to the top and harder there. Later you can chip a small hole, pour out the honey and then get rid of the wax.

By the way, if you or your neighbors have honey bees - they LOVE the wax!  If you set the wax outside for a day or two, the bees will clean all the honey off and turn the wax into powder.  They will eventually carry the powder off too, unless you want to use it to make candles or soap - in which case you would need to rescue it from the bees after they have cleaned all the honey off.

    Hope that helps!

  4. I usually let mine stand in very warm water if it's a plastic pot. If it's glass, you can use boiling water. It melts back to it's original state. What I also do is to let it stand in the sun. That works too, but it takes longer.

Lise K: There is nothing wrong with liquify. Liquify is in the dictionary. Both can be used.

  5. Lise K is right. Except about "do not crack." It's DOES not."

    Also "liquefy"and not "liquify."
