Go south to pick up I-10 in Florida.  Follow I-10 all the way to Houston, TX.  Then take US-59 south for 131 miles.  Take TX-91-SPUR toward REFUGIO / CORPUS CHRISTI.  TX-91-SPUR becomes US-77 S.  Stay on US-77 S  all the way to Brownsville, you can cross la frontera there.

it's going to be laredo most likely.  because.....the gulf of mexico is in the way, so you can't go from georgia or anythihng.  you'll travel into texas and take I35 straight down to laredo.
