Can you list the animals that inhabit Cuba? Primarily any that could harm me, e.g. sharks, crocodiles, snakes, etc. Thanks.

  1. If you're worried about anything happening when you go to visit Cuba and hit the beach, there's nothing to be concerned about....except MAYBE, and only maybe, might you get nicked by a jellyfish. If that happens, then all you need to do is go to the beach grill/restaurant wherever you are and they'll give you cider vinegar to soak on your sting. It'll bring down the swelling and pain very quickly and you can carry on with the rest of your trip....BUT THAT'S IF IT HAPPENS......

But jellyfish are in all oceans. I promise you that you won't have anything to worry about....but I can't not tell you because you are asking.

I have never been stung by one there.

Little children are always in the water too....no problems at all.

Flamingos are very popular in Cuba and are harmless. So are the Cuban Tree Frogs.

See the links below for pictures of Cuban wildlife....

You will have a great time in Cuba. Cuba is very safe in many respects...and you're safe animal-wise too.
