Cuba holiday?

me and the mr's want to go to cuba in the summer. who's best to book with for the best holiday deal and whats the price roughly.

It can depend on what you're looking for. Personally, Cayo Coco is a gorgeous part of Cuba. It's located in the Cayos (the keys) and is a beautiful stretch of beach. Cayo Coco is a little secluded and is about 45 minutes from the local town of Morón (in Ciego de Ávila).

Tryp Cayo Coco is an amazing resort...the staff and Animación Team/Entertainment Team are so much fun and will help you have the time of your life. It is very easy to completely relax without interferance and there are many activities to keep you busy and have fun. There are a lot of beach/pool and water sports/activities.

Enjoy the day trips (and try to go to Havana for a day or two if possible).

Being a Sol Melia resort, you will have excellent quality.

In the summer, you're looking at roughly $1100-1200 for 2 weeks...a little less for 1 week....prices vary depending on the room you book...oceanview is always a little more...vip a little extra but not by much.

But remember, if you wait last minute, the rates go down, depending on which airline or agency you go with.

Do some online shopping and compare prices...then contact the agency you wish to deal with in person and ask them if they can match the lowest price (or even do better for you).

September to November offer the lowest prices usually for travel.

...VIP bookings will give you late check-out (but that is included in the package price, which is why it's a bit more with other amenities such as water, beer and pop everyday in the room, bathrobe/slippers).

If you book Air Canada, you will automatically get a late check-out and won't have to pay extra for that.

If you are from Canada, TripCentral and Bel Air Travels are excellent agencies to deal with....but there are many out there that are about the same.

The resort is only 15 minutes away from the airport which means more beach time without any rush.
