Cuba is there more to see and do in guardavlaca than cayo coco?

I've been to both  and can't really offer an opinion.  Holguin, the city has more than Moron the major town near Cayo Coco, but both are quite distant from Havana.  Please check the links below for more information.

I agree with Richard. The two areas are different but there is still a lot to do in Cayo Coco even though it's off the mainland. You can travel into Morón (45 minute drive from Cayo Coco) and there are a lot of activities and sights to see. And you can book trips out to diferent beaches and sights.

Holguín is further from Havana from Cayo Coco...but each place will take you by plane and will not be more than an hour flight. In Holguín, you will find many different excursions listed below...there is more than Cayo Coco.

He gave you excellent links to compare. Honestly, you won't regret either place. Each place in Cuba is exciting and relaxing. You'll have a great time meeting the people and making lifetime friends.

The beaches throughout are beautiful.

Basically you can do whatever you want and make good travel plans and sightseeing in either area and will not be disappointed whatsoever.

So it'll be your choice for what you want out of your trip this time around...trust us, you'll be back to Cuba very soon!
