  1. I was going to answer your questions but you want everything cheap. ! ! !

I only know about the best of Cuba,  I know nothing about cheap things.

You better save some more money and come back.

    Sorry.

  2. 1. a good hotel is the Lido in havana it is cheap and is a 3 star hotel.

    2. the best places to go in cuba are havana, trinidad, and cayo-co-co.

    3. there are some very fun activities to do in cuba. such as scba diving which is pretty cheap, cave exploration, and deap sea fishing.

    4. the Bodeguita del Medio (La) in havana is very good and the Dante in Varadero is also a very nice restraunt.

    5. im not really sure where to get cheap plane tickets from. maybe try www.cheapflights.com

    6. veradero cuba and definietly havana

    7. some good suvinors you need to bring back is definietly cuban cigars.

    8. the best things to do in cuba is scuba diving, cave exploration, and deep sea fishing.

    9. a historical place in santiago de cuba is the Santa Efigenia Cemetery, where many of the famous and influential people of Cuba's history are buried.

    10. cayo-co-co is definitely one of the most beautiful spots in cuba but it is hard to get there. so you decide.

  3. Well for such a project i will sugest

1- Try to organize your holiday accommodation with your travel agency well before you travel as hotel can be much cheaper if you get the whole package together with your plane ticket, cuban custom like to ask you for proof of accomodation on arrival

2- If you look for greener places go to Pinar del Rio not far from havana, there you can visit viñales, beautiful place, there you can organize an exploration to viñales cave, go to see its medicinal river waters, waterfalls, Cigar crops, ... ect, Havana (a polute city as so many old cars running but beautiful old buildings still stand forgotten so hurry up to see them before they colapse to the floor) , Trinidad (old colonial city), To the east.. Baracoa (famous for its cocoa plantation, exuberant vegetation and much more... better to get there by plane as its difficult road access)  and Santiago de cuba... In Santiago you can visit ' El cuartel moncada' (moncada garrison) baconao park, baconao lake (you can organize a trip thru the lake if u like), Bacardi original rum factory and bacardi Museum...

3- Scuba diving, dancing (salsa, chachacha, rumba afrocuban... and much more)

4- Best are private restaurants called 'Paladares'... Cuba is not good for vegetarian... you will struggle to find places offering a proper vegi meals, if you are vegetarian always ask before so they can sort something out for you... Im sure if they manage to keep american car still runnig they can find you a green salad too

5- I found virgin atlantic the best at the moment but their prices go up quite quickly by this date

6- well see answer 2 but generally for hot weather try to be near a beach during the day (not everyday as you might get sunburnt) and visit a musical show at night

7- there is plenty of handcraft survenir made in cuba by local people, paintings, hats, flags, cigar boxes, clothes, wooden items, etc.. buy from them and this way you help them too...

8- well the project says all... talking to the local people, getting to know their culture better this way... check number 3 too

9- Santiago de Cuba is full of history about Fidel castro's revolution... As I mentioned befor visit cuartel moncada (todays is a beautiful primary school) and also Granjita siboney (close to siboney beach).

10- Varadero and Cayo coco are lovely places but very, very touristic, you will see better natural places all around cuba no need to go there, you wont get real answers to your question for the project in those places...
