I've had blisters before and they didn't take 2 weeks to heal.

Something isn't right here and I don't think it's a blister.

  1. With pitchers, blisters take longer to heal...Josh Beckett when he was with the Marlins spent some time on the DL with blisters and even Nolan Ryan had a problem with blisters

So no I dont think they are hiding anything   just trying to make sure he doesnt injure it even more

  2. WGN Radio reported last week it was a blood blister, but still he should have been ready after the All-Star Break.  I think Marmol will do great filling in for him for a little while, his confidence is back and he seems to be throwing the ball better.

  3. i am in no way a cubs fan, but this is an interesting question. i too have had a lot of blisters and i agree that they do not take this long to heal. something may be up with him again.

  4. He has arm trouble yet again. This is his 12th time on the DL in his career. Don't expect much from him the rest of the year.

  5. idk, but if he is always hurt why are they still paying him? he's terrible
