Cubs fans, if the Cubs don't win it all this year, how many more wait till next years can you handle?

Question

My grandfather went his entire life, born and died never seeing a Cubs World Series. My father has gone his entire lifetime never seeing a Cubs World Series or even an appearance. Now I'm 27 years into my life never seeing an appearance or a title. I'm not giving up on this team just yet because I think they're a special team and are just going through a slump like every other team does during the course of a season(they haven't really gone through a slump yet). When does it become too much though? I will always be a Cubs fan, but I wish they would win already. I'm sick of throwing talented teams on the field to watch them blow it and I'm sick of all the Cubs haters making fun of the Cubs and their fans when they have no clue what it's like being a Cubs fan seeing your team lose year in and year out. They have no clue what it's like seeing family members that are fans of the team go through a lifetime never seeing their team win it all or even appear in a World Series.

Don't know how it feels? How about being a Brewer fan and having an owner to cheap to invest in anything? How about going 15 years without a winning season? How about no playoff appearances in 26 years? How about jerks like Sheffield using your team as stepping stone to get to  a better place and treating the city like c**p? How about all the Cubs fans that laughed at the Brewers during last years collapse? How about during a home series not being able to at least have more fans than your opponent. A lot of Cubs fans are loyal and respect the game of baseball and their opponents. However there are also a lot who ruin a man's life for a stupid mistake and laugh at other teams when they choke. And to those fans they deserve all that is coming to them right now.

I brillantly thought of a new idea just in case if they don't win it this year. I am also endorsing it here as well. Say if we go 101 years, I will call next year Cubs 101: How to win a World Series. Fancy Huh....I've been a Cub fan since 89. Losing was part of the atmosphere but once we got close to winning it all, we got hungry and now we demand a Championship. Its been too long.

I know how you feel!!! My Dad was a HUGE Cubs fan and he just recently died (:'-() without ever seeing a Cubs WS appearance. I've lived my life and never seen them in the WS either, and I really want them to win this year. I will ALWAYS be a Cubs fan, but it's hard to take all the loosing.

It's about time the Cubs reward some of the most passionate fans in baseball. I don't think they should have to wait another hundred years.
