Cubs fans ; Have things calmed down now ?

If they have I'd like to say "congrats" on the four game sweep . It was an old fashioned @ss-kicking . It's too bad some drunken idiots on both sides try to spoil things .

i would say yes. the series is over and its time for the cubs and the fans to focus on the pirates, against whom they are 9-3 against this year and they dont have jason bay or xavier nady anymore so that should give the cubs a little bit of a break.

Well, thank you. It was definitely nice as a Cubs fan to see the series go so well. I would not have expected a sweep, especially in Milwaukee.

But there is also a lot of baseball to be played yet this season, and the Brew Crew will be a threat down to the wire. The Cubs have to continue to play solid baseball and not falter, because Milwaukee will take advantage if they do.

oh yeah!!..I'm excited to watch the game this afternoon but our starting pitcher is jason marquis and he's been struggling lately...

Hopefully they continue to win games especially against these pirates which they play well this season

As a Cubs fan thank you. And I agree with you, anyone who gets into a fight over something as inconsequential as a ball game is an idiot. But those people are usually the type that, if it wasn't a baseball game, would simply find some other stupid reason to get into a fight.

BUt, in the words of that great fictional catcher Crash Davis, the moment's over. Time to look ahead to the Pirates.
