Also, who would win in a 50 ft sack race, Jon Lieber or David Weathers? Thanks for your input!

  1. not really. they already brought up smardja there best pitching prospect. everyone else is either too young still or not good enough.

  2. i dont think so but i dont no i dont pay attention to the farm teams but they need a mental boost

maybe lou could get ejected or somethin

  3. to answer the serious part of your question, some of the cubs teams in the minors are playing in the playoffs, so they may not be able to bring some of those guys up. in little playing time, guzman has looked pretty good so maybe they can use him instead of bob howry.

  4. I'm hoping this funk is just about over. i'm not going to even be worried until the Brewers actually pass the Cubs. it's not just pitching nobody is hitting either. they've had stretches where the hitter picked up for poor pitching & the pitchers kept them in it after the All Star break when the hitter were slumping. what we are seeing now is the mix of the 2 in a funk & the Cubs haters are having a field day.

They just brought in Guzman & he is suppose to the next great for about 5 years now... injury problems

The Iowa Cubs are in the minor league post season right now so i don't see anyone else coming up until their season is over but i'm excited to see if Randy Wells gets the call up
