anything that u get from plants that is used by the plant as a means of spreadin seeds is a fruit anything that is used by the plant for storage of excess nourishment is a vegetable.

Though it technically is a fruit, cucumbers are widely considered vegetables.

the word vegetable is not botanical. its just used by cooks (and also by anybody who is not a botanist).

according to wiki, cucumbers are considered to be a vegetable but it is indeed a fruit just like the other people said, so it is technically a fruit not a vegetable.

Becasue ALL fruit like Tomato, Avacato, Strawbbery, Blueburry, Rasburry, Blackburry, Watermelon, ect... all have seeds and vegetables like Celeary, Calaflower, Letice, ect they don't have seeds!

Good question! The general rule of thumb is that if it has seeds then it is a fruit and if has no seeds it is a vegetable. So, by this rule a cumcumber is a fruit as is a tomato, in fact there are a lot of fruits that we consume as vegetables! Hope that helps
