Foreign students in Canada need a number of things to study here...the most important are a letter of acceptance from a college or university...and a sponsor...someone who is willing to be responsible for you while you are here.  You also need a letter of health/a letter indicating you have no criminal record/ a letter indicating you have sufficient funds for your time here/ and a few other things...but the first two are the most important.  Most colleges & universities send out letters of acceptance for the following September in January/February. Most courses begin in September...but for PG courses they may begin at the commencement of the next semester after the letter of acceptance is issued.
