  1. Definitely get a ferrule and tip put on professionally...A new tip is usually about $15 (more for something like a Moori tip), but if it's missing a ferrule, too...don't know how much that'll be. If you didn't buy it used, you should definitely ask the seller to right it for you. Also, is there any chance you just have a Sledgehammer tip on there? Is it a jump/break cue by any chance? Those tips are really funny-looking if you don't know what you're looking at.

p.s. Alternatively, you can always ask Johnny if he could part with one of those s***w-on tips he used to offer to go with Donald's old cue (not that any of us could afford that!)

  2. Kinda agree with Dragon why buy it but they are replacements avail

WHAT KIND OF STICK IS IT ???

  3. They make a kit that comes with tips, glue, sand paper etc. They probably have it at Walmart. Or order it online & ebay to.

  4. Go to a billiards retail store and ask if they repair cues.  Most do.  They will advise you and for a small fee, you can get the tip you need.

  5. Like  the  previous posts  stated, get  a  place  that  sells  tables  and  accessories  put  one  on  for  you. Should'nt  cost  more  than  $10 .

  6. Why don;t you take it back to the place of purchase, and let them give you a new stick, or let them repair it, like factory.

I never heard of that, are you sure it's not a very hard tip?

I wpuld take it back where I got it.. and demand satisfaction,

  7. you can buy a tip set and then its pretty much just glue to hold it on.  another idea would be to go to any local pool hall and have them do it for you

  8. Unless the cue is a total piece of c**p and you want it to play like a total piece of c**p, do NOT buy tips at a sporting goods store. Take it to a billiards store and have them look at it. It sounds like you may need a ferrule as well, since they do not ever make tips out of wood.

  9. You will need to buy some cue tips at a local sports shop they don't cost that much and they are plastic

    Hope This Helped :D

  10. Sounds like you are missing the ferule.  THat is the plastic tip topped with leather.  Find a place that repairs them and have it done professionally.
