Question:

Cultural foods?

My school is having this cultural thing, and we bring foods based on our heritages. I'm irish, scottish, check, and welsh. I really want something delicious - something people will like and want the recipes for, but also something easy and not too pricey to make. Any ideas?

  1. Desserts. One from each background of your heritage. Go to www. recipehound.com

  2. This site has lots of recipes for Scotland - I think I'd go wil the teacle scones.  You'll be able to adjust the recipe to make small ones.

  3. For the Irish food you could make boxty.

Heres a link to a good recipe for it.

  4. you may have to pick a background and make something from it. I would go with the Irish/Welsh/Scottish thing and see if scones don't fit the bill for that.  Czech foods might include scones too but i don't think so.
