  1. I don't think there are just three. Those must be the ones your teacher mentioned so if you didn't write them down you won't find the answer here. But anyway.

I like New Moon Daughter's answer (and picture) but they address "before fieldwork" problems.

Once on the field, a researcher would face at least:

The language barrier: if the researcher can't speak the language, then a translator will be needed, which will mean some possible distortions on data.

Personal relationships issues: we are not all equally qualified to deal with all sorts of people, so you must develop an ability to relate to chosen subjects' characteristics.

Ethical issues: even if you have properly outlined your ethical framework beforehand, there will be problems you might not have considered. Dealing with them properly will depend on your general understanding but also on some common sense.

  2. 1. Peer review. If an anthropologist is conducting an orginal ethnography, it's hard to get work published the first go-around. Several submissions of the research must be made

    2. Environmental factors-unless it's in a controlled environment, it's hard to plan. This is where study plan design must come into play

    3. Naturally-Participant selection. Not only does the cultural anthropologist have to grapple with societal integration factors, but merely selecting which participants will be included in the study is a difficult task in and of itself.
