Culture/race and customer service? ?

This is not trying to insinuate any sort of dispute, but I really would prefer no politically correct answers, just pure honesty please.

01. What ethnicity/race are you and when it comes to dealing with customer service (a fast food clerk, cashier, waiter/waitress, receptionist), what culture/group would you say you tend to deal with the worst customer service from and which would you say tends to have better service?

02. Likewise, have you ever been "favored" by customer service because of your background/ethnicity or have you ever been treated lesser or differently than other customers or in front of your friends (your friends get treated better) because of your race/background (and you knew it because they were treating others better). If so, which culture/group did you deal with that in?

03. Lastly, specifically for those who have ever worked in customer service (as I have for four years), when dealing with difficult customers, which ethnic group/race tended (or tends) to be the most difficult and rude to deal with? And which customers ethnic/racially tended to be the nicest to you and were easier for you to get along with?

  1. 1) Im Black. The worst customer service usually comes from the white people. They will enforce the rules without waiver no matter how dumb the rule is.  Black people will break the rules as long as it is not something that will get them fired. White people act as if they are going to get fired if I get extra mayo on my roasted turkey.

    2) Yes I have been favored. goes a little something like this

me: "hey bruh, how much is it for this little extra thing right here"

black customer service person: "you good"

    me:  "word?  preciate it"

    3) I used to work for the cable company and for one of the big cell phone carriers.  The worst customers ARE THE BROKE ONES.  But if I had to pick a race Im going to say White people.   They are always making demands and threats. They wont take no for answer.   there is an air of entitlement that I find very abrasive.

white person: "but I have been your customer for 6 months and I have never been late on a payment."

Im just want to say  ....  So what.  6 month aint shiit ...  your late NOW. Your shiit will be off until the bill gets paid.  Deal with it!!!

  2. I've heard black people don't tip very well. If that's true, that could explain mediocre service in a restaurant.

  3. Where I live I am favored by White people. They all know who I am and what I stand for....I dont tolerate disrespect from others....
