  1. u need to get a grip of urself and decide if u can do it. if u can pass the course with and a or b than i would stay in cuz the collages like it but if ur just gonna fail than drop it.

  2. No guts.no glory dude..i have same experience (Japanese though) but i maintain calmness & focus on things & it took me years but guess what i can now go with the flow..it's a li'l tough but again no guts.no glory...goodluck!

  3. =] Don't be intimidated! Learning Spanish will open many doors for you in the future. I recommend you don't drop out. Take advantage of the chance you're getting, you are hearing the exact Spanish that is spoken in other countries. The more you hear it from native speakers, the more you learn. I'm learning Italian & I wish everyone around me spoke Italian, I could learn faster & be exact!

  4. If you're in Advanced Spanish, you should be comfortable with the whole class being conducted in Spanish. I'm only in Spanish 3 this semester, and even here we speak little to no English.

Drop it if you feel uncomfortable, but it will be a good learning experience for you if you stay.

  5. They are taking the class for an easy A.

However, don't drop the class. By all means, stick with it! It will be a great opportunity to polish your spoken Spanish. You will also pick up lots of "modismos" that you can't learn in books, which will help you communicate with REAL Spanish speakers later. At the same time, you will also improve your writing. Finally, you can learn a lot about the culture. This is important, because learning a language is one thing, but adjusting to another culture is a WHOLE DIFFERENT manner.
