  1. There is probably nothing wrong... The squeal is caused by the resonance between the pad surface and the disc, much like a bow causing the strings on a violin to resonate. There are any number of tiger-milk sprays, lotions and creams you can use on the back of the pads where they contact the pistons. I've used copper or Teflon shims between the piston and pad. Chamfering the pads' leading edge can sometimes help. Another alternative: a different brand of pad.

  2. jack it up remove tire and look at brake pads takes 20 minutes.. most likely rust a round the rotor you can scrape off with secrewdrive or some sand paper or wire brush... coul dbe the type of brake pad.. could be the brake pads are wore out again wont know til you have a look.... most likely rust a round the outer and inter edge of rotors or pad type most likey nothing but you should check any ways  depending on her driving sytle she might have used the pads up already.. so check them out not hard to remove tire and look at pads and really not hard to replace them either a hour and 30 bucks anyone can do that since most brake are the same in how they work knowing how to do one you can pretty much do them all... my wife does her own
