What did you think of Denny Hamlin's comments after the Saturday race when he ahd Brad Keslowski got into the altercation? I feel thats why they have the Nationwide series they are not Cup drivers and if Denny is so upset he should just go and drive Cup only, what do you think?

  1. i think the questions getting old. i agree the nationwide is a bad series that's why jr went there and actually almost won, something he doesnt do in cup.

denny was mad at brad for bumping him under the caution for no reason. denny is too good for the nationwide him and kyle need to get out of there so jr might win.

  2. Gibbs is the biggest hypocrite in Nascar. The drivers attitudes come from the top. We wouldn't be seeing all the selfish attitudes if it was discouraged.

Kyle now has Gordon on the list of haters. His payback will come in the chase, by then he will have pissed off at least 7 or 8 of the chasers. He is going to suffer some of those "racin deals" in the chase. Mark my words.

  3. i do feel that it should be that cup drivers cant race in the nationwide series races but if they get the chance to race some of the big dogs then they will be more prepared when they reach cup series. im not sure what i would do if i could call that decision.

  4. I agree 100%!!! Did anyone else happen to notice how much Denny sounds just like Kyle Busch all of a sudden??? That little "If you throw a stone I'm going to throw a concrete block" comment was eerily like the Kyle Busch comments after his incident with Steven Wallace a few weeks back. I never thought I'd be saying this, but I agree with Jimmie Spencer when he said to Denny Hamlin "How dare you" come over into the Nationwide Series and expect these Nationwide regulars to just lay down and let you pass them just because you are a Sprint Cup driver. Kenny Wallace - Mr Always Happy, himself - was even more brutal about it! Brad Keselowski hit the nail on the head when he said "He doesn't like it when guys race him hard, but that's the sport and that's what I do. I raced him hard and he decided to take my left-front fender off because of it."

Jaynarie - I couldn't agree more. I was a HUGE JGR fan until these last couple of months. These two young drivers of his have spoiled it for me. I suddenly find myself wishing bad things on Gibbs Racing. What happened to all of this honesty and family values this man used to preach about??? I guess winning at all costs is more important in that sorry-a** hypocrite's eyes. I miss the old "coach" Joe Gibbs who used to take his boys aside all the time and say "Look, this isn't how we do things around here."

  5. Everyone can complain as much as they want about not wanting to have Cup drivers run in the Nationwide Series, but NASCAR isn't stupid. They know that they're going to make alot more money on the Nationwide Series if they allow Cup drivers to compete. People like being able to go to a track to watch drivers they've actually heard of compete.

Plus, having a good finish against the best in the sport just makes it all the more impressive. David Gilliland beat the big boys in only his seventh career Nationwide (Then Busch) Series start with a single car, non-Cup associated team, and landed himself a Cup Series ride later that season. You don't think they would have given him that ride if he just beat a bunch of other no-names, do you?

  6. I liked Brad's comments after the race. It went along the lines of, "Denny's out there racing two days a week. I'm out there only once a week and only have 200 laps to prove myself." Great response. Denny's just there for 'extra practice', while Keslowski was going and really racing for points. Get out of the way, Denny. The boy needs his points. Cup drivers don't belong. Period.

  7. Cup the cot is better than cruddy older style lifeless cars

  8. I agree entirely.  He's a whiner.  The entire JGR camp is "Nothing is ever my fault.  Don't race me hard."  whine, whine, whine.

  9. I think thats a good idea for Denny. Stay in the cup series and then he wouldnt have to deal with it.

  10. he should grow up he sounded like a little school girl crying there

  11. Cup drivers should just run in the sprint cup races and let the up and coming drivers have the nationwide. The cup drivers have nothing to prove in the nationwide series while the nationwide series do. But the bottom line is that they all are race car drivers, so they all should just do what they are paid to do..

  12. Coach Gibbs isn't a hypocrite. And I agree that the Cup guys...ALL of them should get out of nationwide

  13. I 100% agree with you, everyone has to pull over and let the JGR cars go by, Denny shut up will ya.. He is really beginning to get on my nerves whine, whine, whine.. Denny if you think you are Mr Sprint Cup, why are you driving in Nationwide, sounds to me like your head is swelling bigger than your helmet.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  14. I think everyone has altercations no matter who you are. In my opinion Denny was just under a lot of pressure. I mean the car he was in had won like the past 5 races. I think he just didn't want to be the one to end the streak! His comments after the race were just him expressing his disappointment in not winning!

  15. There's another question just like this. I think they shouldn't allow cup drivers race in Nationwide series.I was thrilled when Jimmie Johnson raced in the series but, its taking away other Nationwide series driver chances for Sprint Cup...
