He didnt resign, He was told he was going and slaven bilic was coming in.

They shook his hand and thanked him for a positive start to the season and wished him well and in respect of not making a fuss they allowed to him to release to the media that he resigned as this saved a bit of face all round.

They should have really got this sorted out a bit earlier but the bookies had this one sussed weeks ago.

I guess bilic was tied up a few weeks ago lol.
