  1. i'm 17. my curfew on my last cruise in june varied nightly because i'd always have to get up early to go on a excursion. it was 12:30 some nights and 1:30 others. but 1:30 was the latest it ever was for me because my mom told me that since the teen club closed down at 1, i didn't have any buisness running around cabins or whatever. and like get a guy or a big group of people to walk the ship more than a half hour later. anyway a good way to get a later curfew is to get your parents together with the people your hanging out with's parents so then they know that your not running around like in people's you back to your cabin when it's time for you to go in so your parents don't have to worry about you. it sounds dumb but i always do it because there are some scary stories out there about what happens to people that walk around alone. (not to scare you)

but yeah i hoped this helped and enjoy your cruise =)

  2. when ever we go on a cruise my parents dont care when i go to sleep (they make me get up early but...)

parents dont really understand kids version of vacation, to us vacation is doing stuff you normally dont do, and for a cruise you HAVE to stay up late they have a midnight buffet 24 hour ice cream parlor/pizzeria all this stuff.

1am is ok you won't really miss anything that im aware of, the only thing is at the midnight buffet you arent allowed to eat the food for i think the first 1/2 hour, they allow people to take photos of the food???

  3. Since you are on a cruise vacation. I think that you should be able to stay up as late as you want. I know that on most cruise lines they have a curfew at 11 or 12. After that time you need to be with a parent.

I have never seen anyone enforce the curfew rule. I have seen young people all around the clock walking around, etc. I wouldn't worry about it. The worse that can happen is Security can tell you to go back to your cabin.

  4. 10 pm is plenty late for any 16 year old, there isn't much else to do after 10 pm except go to the bars and disco, where there is booze so why would you want to go there when you're not old enought to participate? Most people are just about ready for bed after a busy day in port,  Except of course the young adults who will party the night away, bide your time you'll be old enough one day. until then, don't get your self all in a \dither just because your parents are being responsible parents who obviously love you very much and care about  your welfare.
