  1. Better you treat the fungus from inside the body: Grapefruitseed-extract caps and Morinda citrifolia.

  2. Clorox deluded about 6 to one with water for a topical swab.  But like the other answer.  If you have it on the outside you have it on the inside.

So treat with anti-finagle meds, Natural; Olive leaf extract,Oil of Oregano capsules,Cinnamon capsules and Garlic.

Don't let a pill pushing doctor give you antibiotics, Fungus feeds on antibiotics.  Good Luck.  Please think of me when picking your best answer, Thank you.

  3. Listerine is an antiseptic oral rinse, it won't have much if any effect on toenail fungus.(onychomycosis)   It only works on bacteria, not funguses.  No "pill pushing doctor" would recommend antibiotics for this condition.

You need a topical antifungal, and it takes weeks to months to completely eradicate it.  There are some decent over-the-counter antifungals, so you don't need to see the doctor necessarily.

It also is a more of a cosmetic concern more than a real medical concern.

You do not need anything to treat yourself internally or systemically, onychomycosis is purely an external problem of the nail bed.

  4. Listerine is not chemically designed for that purpose. Waste of time. You must kill the fungus from the matrix of your nail. Oral antibiotics are not a good idea, because the nail needs lots of time to get it and your liver can suffer (specially if you drink alcohol). Get topic antifungal solutions.. The best ever seen in my life: Trosyd.. one month and you are free of that stuff. Grind the nail with 200 sandpaper before applying everyday that will increase the curing rate.
