  1. No. Because you still need the one-on-one interaction. However, it will replace the need of going into the classroom every day. Some classes may never go to distance learning such as laboratory science unless they create a VR disection or such.

I doubt it.  I'm of the opinion that certain classes require a classroom, while others (the Seton Hill Masters in Writing Popular Fiction program springs to mind) demand the absence of a classroom.  I think more masters programs could benefit from allowing students the freedom to work in the tradition of the low-residency courses, but undergrad courses should still be taught in the classroom.  Of course, that's just my opinion.  

  3. I doubt it.  Many universities seem to be getting up to speed with on line offerings.  They are using it as a way to augment their traditional bricks and mortar classrooms.  I think you will see the traditional universities taking over this segment from the less traditional colleges.  The traditionals have brand name recognition.  Besides, research is a key component of teaching.  Reseach is facilitated by a bricks and mortar environment.
