Curious on stimulus payments? My check is scheduled to be mailed out on July 4th, and I was wondering...?

has anybody gotten their checks BEFORE they were scheduled to be mailed out. A friend of mine told me that her sister's check was gonna be mailed out on June 20th and she actually got her check the day it was supposed to be mailed out. The IRS is mailing checks daily right? SO, for example...the last two of my social is 80 and say a friend of mine's last two is 86...wouldn't I get mine first or would we get it on the same day?

i got my letter a couple days after the date, then the check followed about 5 days later.

Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule on 7/4 (a legal holiday), you may not get it until early in the week of 7/7.

Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.

I think the checks are mailed once a week - mailing time depends on where you live in relation to the mailing and how long it takes for the check to get to your house.  Most checks are getting mailed a week before the date on the original schedule.

Some people get their checks the day before the date on their letter.  Others get them ten days later.

My parents last digits are 87. They got a letter in the mail today saying to expect their check by July 5th. My last digits are 85 and I did not get a letter. Who knows? This is the government we are talking about!
