Curious what would happen if you didnt have enough to pay for your bill at a restuarant?

they'd send ya striaght to the kitchen...n you'd be washin dishes! THATS WAHT!   dunt try it! and if the BOARD OF HEALTH SAYS FOUL....you ll be in the mental ward for observation, for 24 hours.

well it depends where youre at..i know its happened to me a couple of times...my card wouldnt work..so they let me leave and i went to get some cash from the atm..its hard to say what theyll do... i dont think they make u wash the dishes though..

I know that they used to make people wash dishes...but that was when like my dad was a kid. I don't think that they do that anymore..not sure what they would do...maybe call the police. because you should make sure that you are able to pay them before you even think on going.

  I have never had that happen. I will usaully pay with a credit card but I always have enough cash on me as well...just in case.

I am a manger at a restuarant and our policy is to BEAT YOU WITH IN an inch of your life in front of the other customers then toss you out using your head to open the door. this will serve as a warning to everyone else that you dont play games at my place.

what they would do is ask for a credit card or some form of credit.---if u dont have one they will ask for your bank card and take it out that way. if u dont have the money in your account it still goes threw because its threw your bank card.then you will get charged a fee for insufficent funds.   so they still get there money.

I really don't think that you would be allowed to wash dishes because of Board of Health Rules, but a friend of mine ran into this situation and he just asked to see the manager and explained the problem and left his watch as security that he would be back.

They can call the police if they want to.  If you're just a little short, they might let you go.  When I waited tables I put in a dollar or two if the customer was only that short, and they did come back and give me more than that for helping them out.  If it's a big shortage management has to get involved, and can do whatever the policy of that particular restaurant is.

No normal restaurant will allow you to wash dishes due to insurance reasons.  Maybe a small family owned restaurant would, but they'd be taking a chance.  Make sure you have enough with you in cash, credit or debit when you dine out.
